Dwayne’s Life-Changing Weight Loss Journey

For most of his life, Dwayne struggled with his weight and unhealthy habits. At his highest weight of 110kg, a health scare became the wake-up call he needed to make a change.

In October 2023, Dwayne chose to undergo Gastric Sleeve Surgery with Destination Beauty in Thailand. From the moment he arrived, he felt supported by the caring staff and medical team throughout his journey.

Following surgery, Dwayne committed to a healthier lifestyle, focusing on a high-protein, low-carb diet and regular exercise. What started as a weight loss journey soon became a passion for fitness.

Today, Dwayne weighs 72.8kg, having lost an incredible 37.8kg. He enjoys going to the gym, running, and has set a goal of completing a 21km half marathon.

One of his proudest achievements was participating in his first competitive 7km run. His before photo was taken the day after surgery, while his after photo captures him at that very event—a powerful reminder of how far he has come.
