Before Surgery, Please Remove
✅ False eyelashes and makeup
✅ Nail polish and nail extensions
✅ Jewellery and body piercings
✅ Removable hair extensions
These items may interfere with monitoring or medical equipment during surgery.
Important Preparation
✅ Continue prescribed medications unless your surgeon or doctor advises otherwise
✅ Speak with your local doctor about any existing medical conditions
✅ Arrange a follow-up appointment after returning home if recommended
✅ Gastric sleeve patients should follow their prescribed pre-operative diet
You May Be Asked to Stop
⚠️ Blood-thinning medicines, including aspirin, warfarin or heparin
⚠️ Vitamin E, fish oil, birth control pills or certain hormones
⚠️ Smoking or vaping
⚠️ Alcohol
